"The jungle is not like being on safari in Africa. The thick canopy and wet forest make animal sightings tricky. The terrain can be steep and unacquainted. However these environments are for the most part pristine, and the communities and cultures that live in them are fascinating.

Whilst difficultly ratings are given for these trips it is important, particularly with jungle and mountain expeditions, to prepare yourself both mentally and physically for the environment you are about to enter."
