The popular misconception is that the roads in Borneo would not be suitable for biking. However the roads here in Northern Sabah have been often described as track quality. Lots of good fast straights, plenty of swoopy bends, and quite a few blind drops, and fantastic climbs and falls around mountain style roads. Plenty of easy dirt surface mileage, and some real jungle type tracks for the enthusiastic off-roader. The roads are empty too!
