One of the most famed dive locations in the world, Sipadan is home to many underwater wonders. Divers will stay in the best resort on either Mabul or Kapalai island, 10 minutes from Sipadan. A protected area, no-one is allowed to stay overnight at Sipadan.
Diving in Sipadan offers more than the opportunity to see big pelagics. The only problem is deciding which way to look. The reef is pristine and thriving, the underwater seascapes are stunning and the abundance of life all around is awe-inspiring. Mabul and Kapalai Islands are better known for 'muck' diving and are a photographer's paradise. On the edge of the Wallacea Triangle of unparalleled biodiversity these islands offer opportunities to see the rarest of creatures, such as the flamboyant cuttlefish, ornate ghost pipefish, wonderpus, the orangutan crab and many many more.
Above the water is equally as relaxing, the islands are stunning thousands of shimming shades of blues and greens, white sand, palm trees and great accomodation.
