Designed by Graham Marsh and set in the midst of the luxurious Sutera Harbour Resort complex with the backdrop of the South China Sea and islands of the Marine Park. Graced by wide fairways, the acclaimed course designer Marsh has used the effect of lakes and water to dramatise the layout. Its signature hole is the 24th par 4, 330m, with the challenge provided by the sandy waste and the sea which comes precariously close to the undulating green.

The 27-hole golf course at Sutera Harbour Golf Club is divided into 3 distinct sets of 9s; The Lake Course, as the starting 9 from the Golf Club House, this set of nine was named for the obvious richness in water hazards and the man-made lakes nestled between the undulating greens and landscaped vistas. The Heritage Course, with a fantastic view of the Kota Kinabalu city backdrop from the horizon across the fairway, the Heritage Course is a peaceful and secluded course in which to relax and play. The Garden Course, presents a spectacular area richly landscaped with shady trees and sand bunkers with ocean and island views in the horizon. Each set displays different challenges, hazards and landscaping.

It is worth noting that this first-class course offers an exiting new experience: night golfing. Other facilities include a driving range, putting green, chipping and bunker practice area, Resident Pro, Pro-shop, buggy rental, locker rooms with sauna facilities and a golf club house. In-house guests at the Sutera are allowed cross-signing privileges.
